A Mississippi driver can purchase a copy of their own certified or uncertified MVR online through The Mississippi DPS Portal.

To view your record, you will need to provide information on your full name, date of birth, driver’s license number, and social security number (last four digits).

Online payment of $14.31 can be made through a debit or credit card.

After paying the fees online, you will be able to access the digital MVR for only 24 hours. If you want a physical copy, you can download the file onto your computer and print it.

In-Person 

To request a certified MS MVR in person, first print and fill out the Driver Request form (DPP-3). 

To complete the DPP-3 form, you will need to provide the driver’s full name, driver’s license number, and date of birth.

In this form, you will need to state if you are the person on the record. If not, you should indicate your relationship to the person on the record and the purpose of requesting for it.

You will also need to attach a notarized request letter and the completed Consent to Release form.

Payment for the certified MVR is $11.

Once you have all that, go to a Motor Vehicle Record walk-in location in Mississippi and deliver your request.
